How Blue Lemons works
This page explains how Blue Lemons works end to end — for both the people booking time and the experts offering it.
Booking a 1:1 advisory call
Clients browse a vetted directory of senior professionals and book a one-hour first conversation. There is no fee to the client beyond the expert's own rate, and no subscription.
Payment is processed by Stripe. The expert's fee is held securely until the call takes place, so both sides are protected.
Consulting and fractional work
For a short-term consulting project or a fractional executive role, clients send a brief through the enquiry page. Blue Lemons matches the brief to a suitable expert personally, normally within one working day.
Fees and refunds

Cancellation
Calls can be cancelled for a full refund up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.
Vetting
Experts are not self-served onto the directory. Each applicant is reference-checked and personally interviewed by a founder before being listed.
