Hunns.

Executive Creative Director | Creative Leadership, Brand & In-house Capability | Better work. Stronger teams. Greater influence.

I’ve spent my career on pretty much every side of the creative relationship. I’ve worked agency-side, built an agency from scratch, spent years working with major clients, and built and transformed creative teams from inside organisations including Barclays and Chelsea FC. That has given me a slightly different perspective on what makes great creative work happen. It isn’t only the idea. It’s the people you put around it. The standards you set. The questions you ask. The trust you build. And whether creative is brought into the conversation early enough to make a difference. That’s probably what I bring best: creative judgement, strategic thinking and the ability to build teams people trust. I can get into the work, but I’m equally comfortable stepping back and asking what the business is actually trying to solve. I like connecting the people who should be talking to each other, challenging the brief when it needs challenging, and creating the conditions for talented people to do their best work. Different environments, but the same instinct: Better work. Stronger teams. Greater influence. I believe creativity belongs beyond the creative department. The best organisations don’t treat creative as something you bring in once the thinking is finished. They bring it into the problem earlier. And I believe the best change brings people with it. High standards. Low ego. Strong opinions. Open mind.
